Morning of day 6 was sunny, though not too hot. We had covered so much ground the day before that we could take it easy today. The guys did a lot of fishing on Nipew, where there are plenty of weedy areas perfect for pike.

The water was glass and we had plenty of time, so we'd canoe hard for a while then they'd stop and toss in their lines at likely-looking weed beds.
